TLC Schnauzers' Testimonials ~ Page 1
Saint Thomas More Catholic Church
loves our Miniature Schnauzers!
Bony and JuJu are proud to live at St. Thomas More Rectory and to welcome the priests home from a hard day. These wonderful companions have brothers and sisters looking for good homes and well-behaved owners. Fr. Julian Harris is the proud owner of Bony, a black Schnauzer born to Chester and Inge at TLC Kennels. Fr. Alex Vargas has JuJu, a Schnauzer out of the famously sweet mother, Contessa. They are loyal, affectionate happy dogs content to be at your side rain or shine, happy or sad. They come from great dogs in a great mountain home. Mr. Ted Smith is a professional breeder and a gentleman.
Hi Ted and Lynne, We just wanted to let you know that Levi is doing fantastic! He is very happy in our house and adores the kids. He seems to already be potty trained as well which makes me very happy. There has been only one accident on the first day and today he even rang the bell we hung from the door for when he needs to go to the bathroom. We are amazed with how much he can learn in just three days! He is already responding well to the sit command and he really seems to like his crate. I was totally amazed that has not been ANY crying at all at night and only a little during the day...and he also sleeps all night from around 11:30 to 5:15 when our alarm goes off. WOW! He goes into his crate willingly to take a rest or sleep (and he retreats there when the kids are practicing violin!)
The vet was very complimentary of your dogs. She said that they have never seen an unhealthy dog come from your kennel. She talked about how male schnauzers can be very dominant, but said that all the dogs that they've ever seen from you are exceptionally well bred with great temperaments. She was complimentary of how well you handle the dogs and how well socialized they are. Levi passed his exam with flying colors and was worm free.
I think you were right. The only thing better than one schnauzer is two! They are simply amazing dogs and your care in breeding certainly has made a difference for us. We are very proud of Levi and we will be sending our friends your way!
Thank you!!! Leslie
Dear Ted, I am writing to let you know how much I have been enjoying Charlie. (Here's a) picture of Charlie in a Pet of the Year calendar contest, sponsored by The Tennessean.
Thank you for letting me adopt Charlie. Please know that he is well loved and taken care of.
Kathy (and Charlie)
Even our Vets love us!
Hi Mr Smith, Let me begin with thanking you for all of your new puppy referrals - they are always in great health (and just plain cute!) I have a few that are coming due soon for their yearly exams, and I will send you some updated pictures. All of them have been in the best of health and have found absolutely wonderful families. I also wanted to let you and your wife know that I have just recently switched veterinary hospitals. I have joined one of my best friends (and excellent veterinarian) at McKay's Mill Animal Hospital. It is located in the Franklin/ Cool Springs area.
Our little schnauzer is hanging in there at 13 1/2 years, and I have promised our girls two puppies when her time has come (couldn't do that to her right now!)
We'll be sure to head your way when we are ready!
Sincerely, Dr Heather A Bowling
Hi Ted, This is Amy and David and we just wanted to send a quick picture of Roman. He is such a good puppy and we are in love with him. He is adapting so well and is nothing but a wagging tail and tonz of kisses. We take him to the vet next Friday for a check up. We love him and are so blessed he is apart of our family. Thank you for taking good care of him :)

Hello! I just wanted to send you some pictures of Lucky pup. We purchased him from you the first week in October! He is amazing! I say that with the deepest love and all I have! He has just been perfect! We have enrolled him in training classes. This Sunday will be our 3rd class!
Dr. Bowling is very happy with his health and his progress! He is a good 10 lbs now! He's got such an amazing character...and is quite the cuddle bug! Our daughter Hannah is absolutely in love with him and he is very patient and loving with her!
Lucky's favorite thing to do is to fetch the frisbee! He has learned to sit, lay, fetch, and we are working on "stay". He never barks..(only when he is playing and he is trying to intimidate his toys. haha!
I just wanted to sing your praise. Feel free to put any of this on your page. You are amazing at what you do. I know that you can't just breed any two dogs together to get a perfect puppy like our Lucky pup. Thank you! April
Mr. & Mrs Smith, Just wanted to update you on Miss Gypsi Grace. She had her 12 week Dr visit recently and weighed in at 5.5 lbs. She is a happy, healthy and very funny little angel. The pic is from one of her visits to my office where everyone is totally enthralled with her. She and her cat sister, Maggie, were recently caught napping together (but they still act like cats & dogs sometimes!). She is just a totally adorable baby who is loved to the max! Hope you enjoy the picture, and hope all is well with you in Cross Plains!
Thank you, Brenda
I feel very comfortable recommending anyone to buy a pup from TLC. When I bought my miniature schnauzer there in May 2006, Ted was very knowledgeable and friendly, and most importantly I could tell he truly cared for each pup's wellbeing. My puppy was healthy and almost immediately housebroken. She graduated from puppy class and gets along great with our other dog and with neighbors' dogs. We couldn't resist returning to visit TLC Schnauzers in June 2007 so Sophie could visit her first home once more before we moved out of state.
If you are thinking of buying a miniature schnauzer I would recommend TLC without hesitation. Thanks! Melanie
We hope you are doing well. It’s been a while since we updated you about Didi. We got her from you in October last year. She is lovely and healthy and brings much happiness in our lives. Thanks so much for giving us such a wonderful puppy.
Please find attached several pictures of Didi.
We would like to visit you and get Didi a brother or a sister. We understand from your information posted on your website that you have new puppies. Are they available now? Please let us know.
Best wishes, Elena, Ovi, and Didi
Ted, We can't thank you enough for the wonderful puppy. He's very good so far. We made it back home last night in around 6 hours. He was very good in the car ride home. Sugar doesn't know what to think of him so far. She's very bossy but I think she'll get over that opnce he gets a bit bigger.
I have attached some pictures of Bear at his new home.
Thanks again and we'll keep you up to date on his progress.
Thank you, Brett & Charity
Ted, I just wanted to send you a photo of the black female we got from you last Saturday. We have named her Sophie and she has fit right into our home with no problems. You adjusted her well before us getting her.
She and our other dog have bonded and our other dog takes care of Sophie so well. They play like crazy in the back yard and she is eating and sleeps all thru the night.
Thank you, and I just wanted you to know that we are taking really good care of her.
Karen and Steve
Mr. Smith just wanted to let you know that the puppies did very well last night. They slept in the bed (although we didn’t sleep much) and did great. They got up twice to potty outside. Chelsey (black) has done very well while Lilly (s&p) has had a couple of accidents. No biggies though!
They have a pillow that they love to play on, and a bunch of toys! We stopped at the Petsmart yesterday and bought their little harnesses, PINK.They look so cute on them. I have already registered on the Propac site and received a $2.00 coupon for the food and there is a store in Columbia that carries that brand and I am going in just a little while to pick that up.
Please don’t worry about them, they are in loving hands.
Here are the pictures I have sent out to everyone telling them about our new family additions… hey are so dang cute!!!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures I am sending you…I’ll send more as they grow… Take care, LaGina
